What Is Ecotherapy?
Ecotherapy is an emerging area of research which looks at the relationship we humans have with our natural environment. Ecotherapy refers to healing and growth nurtured by healthy interaction with the earth. Also known as “green therapy” and “earth-centered therapy.”
I come from an ecology and horticultural background. This influences my work and thinking. I believe that we benefit from contact with nature and the passing seasons to help us maintain our balance and wellbeing. If this makes sense to you then we can also include this in our conversations. I am also a qualified horticultural therapist and can work with groups.
